Renovation of dormitory for International Christian University High School students

For the renovation of the dormitory of International Christian University High School, which was built more than 40 years ago, we provided consistent support from the formulation of an optimal renovation policy to the completion of renovation work that would realize the comfort and convenience of the dormitory within the scope of the budget.
 
Project challenges.
In order to determine whether the student dormitory, which was built more than 40 years ago, met the required earthquake resistance standards, it was necessary to select an appropriate survey company. In addition, we had to determine which was the best option in terms of schedule and finances: renovating the existing facility or rebuilding a new one.

At the stage of formulating the development plan, we selected a contractor to conduct an earthquake-resistant diagnosis of the existing facilities, provided support for the diagnosis, and conducted cost estimates based on a medium- to long-term repair plan for the existing facilities. In addition, we supported the formulation of a development plan for the student dormitory by conducting a volume study (examining the scale of the building that can be used as a building) and estimating the project cost in the case of rebuilding, and comparing the renovation plan and the rebuilding plan.
 
At the stage of selecting business operators, we provided consistent support until the completion of the renovation of student dormitories by formulating a strategy for recruiting in accordance with the formulated maintenance plan, preparing a recruiting guideline document, and conducting bidding. At the construction stage, we provided support for the construction plan, confirmation of construction status, management of construction costs, and purchase of furniture and fixtures.
 
This project has improved the comfort and convenience of the student dormitories, and has also enabled us to formulate an optimal maintenance plan from a cost perspective, select a business operator in line with the policy, and smoothly promote the renovation work.
