Index Consulting provided support for the construction of a showroom where visitors can experience the large cleaning systems of Kärcher, a German-based manufacturer and distributor of cleaning systems and equipment, from the excavation of the construction site to the completion of construction.
Challenges of the project
In this project, in addition to constructing a multi-purpose and special facility based on Kärcher's global corporate identity (CI), we had to develop a business scheme based on the investment policy of Kärcher's headquarters, and establish a smooth approval process between the headquarters and Kärcher Japan. Index Consulting's Solution
In the upstream phase of the project, we supported the development of a business strategy, including the development of a long-term leasing scheme with investment from land owners or investors, the search for land that met the development requirements such as rent level and location, and the negotiation of leasing conditions with land owners, as well as the development of contracts, all in the context of Kärcher's investment policy. By supporting the overall management of the project, including the establishment of a smooth coordination and approval process with the German headquarters, Index Consulting was able to attract and construct the first showroom in Japan to combine a large equipment display, vehicle inspection space, and water-based demonstration space.
