TAG
In line with the opening of Long Thanh International Airport in 2025, the Government of Vietnam is planning an expansion from 4-lane to 8-lane roads of the North South Expressway from Ho Chi Minh City to Long Thanh.
Index Strategy has proposed to the Government of Vietnam for the implementation of a concession scheme under unsolicited proposal, for the operation and management right after the expansion is completed.
The project has been awarded by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as a preparatory study for JICA’s Private Sector Investment Finance in August 2020. In this preparatory survey, value-added proposal including the re-construction of existing parking areas and the implementation of automated vehicles to reduce traffic congestion and CO2 emissions have been mainly studied and proposed to the Government of Vietnam.
