Index Strategy|Assam Skill University Project - Supporting the Development of Higher-Level Skills and Entrepreneurship - Environmental Industry Analysis

Index Strategy has been selected for consulting services by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to conduct the "Assam Skill University Project - Supporting the Development of Higher-Level Skills and Entrepreneurship - Environmental Industry Analysis" at Assam Skill University in India.

Assam is the most populous and economically developed state in the northeast region of India and an important region in Southeast and South Asia. Assam has a high percentage of young people (under 40 years old) compared to other regions in India, but there are still many workers engaged in primary industries such as agriculture and mining, and the state is expected to grow further through industrial development.

In line with the Assam Skill University Act, which was passed by the Assam Legislative Assembly in September 2020, ADB will support the establishment of the Assam Skill University under this project to strengthen skills education and vocational training programs in the state of Assam.

In this project, Index Strategy will conduct environmental feasibility analysis for start-ups from Assam Skill University to realize an eco-circulation system that will enable the promotion of comprehensive and sustainable industrial development in India.
Specifically, under the title of "Assam Agenda 2030," the project aims to establish Assam Skill University as an incubator and a provider of a wide variety of facilities and services, serving as the venue for industry-academia and public-private partnerships.

Index Strategy intends to contribute to solving social issues and making international contributions through this project, including the long-standing problem of India sending immigrants overseas, particularly the "brain drain" problem of highly educated and talented people migrating to other countries such as English-speaking countries.
