Index Consulting│Kindai University Faculty of Medicine & Kindai University Hospital New Building Construction Ceremony


Index Consulting's CEO, Uemura, the project manager, Ankyu, and another 3 members attended the Kindai University Faculty of Medicine & Kindai University Hospital New Building Construction ceremony on 22nd October. The ceremony is organized by Kindai University(Higashi-Osaka, Osaka; Chairman: Hiroshige Seko), where Index Consulting is in charge of project management.
 
As part of the 100th-anniversary project of establishment and the 50th-anniversary project of the Faculty of Medicine, Kindai University Faculty of Medicine and Kindai University Hospital will relocate to in front of Senboku Rapid Railway Izumigaoka Station in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture.
In July 2014, Kindai University, Osaka Prefecture, and Sakai City signed a basic agreement about the relocation and rebuilding of the aging Kindai University Hospital, as well as to work toward the revitalization of Senboku New Town and the improvement of medical functions in the South Osaka area. The relocation and reconstruction will further enhance Kindai University Hospital's reputation as one of Japan's leading advanced medical institutions and transform it into a future-oriented hospital that will dramatically increase its recognition in Asia and the world.
 
Index Consulting has supported enhancing overall project functionality and efficiency, not only in the construction area but also in all aspects of projects, including the selection of medical equipment, urban planning, and the use of some external funding for facility operations, since being appointed as the project management company in March 2020.
 
We will continue to manage quality, cost, and progress as project managers during the construction phase in order to bring the project to success.
