Index Consulting's Senior Consultant, Hiroki Kakegawa, has been appointed as a member of the “Global Warming Prevention Expert Committee of Developing the Kasama City Action Plan for Global Warming Countermeasures” by the Ibaraki Kankyo Kanri Organization Association.

Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, has enhanced its efforts to combat global warming and reduce waste based on the Review of the Second Kasama City Basic Environmental Plan in March 2021. In addition, Kasama City declared Zero Carbon City in conjunction with its Zero Plastic Waste Declaration as a part of the “Zero Environmental Impact Challenge”.

Ibaraki Kankyo Kanri Organization Association oversees the formulation of “Kasama City Action Plan for Preventing Global Warming (Area Policy Version)”, and this association set up the “Global Warming Prevention Expert Committee of Developing the Kasama City Action Plan for Global Warming Countermeasures” as an expert committee to study global warming countermeasures and climate change adaptation.

Hiroki Kakegawa as an expert in urban development and PPP projects strategies, would contribute through the duties of the members of this committee to achieving the Zero Carbon City that Kasama City is aiming to.
