Index Consulting has been selected as the contractor for the "2022 Urban Vitality Creation Study Commission" for Niigata City, solicited proposals through a public call.

In this project, proposals were sought to create urban vitality by utilizing the characteristics of the surrounding area, including the tentative use of the site of the former Niigata City Hall annex (Chuo-ku, Niigata City), which is scheduled to be demolished by 2025, for over 20 years until the main building of the City Hall is rebuilt.

 

Index Consulting was selected to study the potential of the areas based on conditions and changes over the 20+ years leading up to the rebuilding and create urban vitality with a public-private partnership approach.

 

Index Consulting will strive to make proposals that will benefit the city of Niigata, residents, and private businesses by utilizing its experience in the fields of regional revitalization, public-private partnerships, and PPP/PFI, as well as its expertise in developing business strategies that contribute to solving SDGs and social issues.
